MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN

Job Description: A Manufacturing Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. The role requires knowledge of PLCs, vision systems, electrical and electronic components, mechanical systems, pneumatics, and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including PM schedules, downtime reports, and spare parts inventory.
• Support the installation, configuration, and alignment of new equipment.
• Connect cables, wires, and components as required during setup and repair.
• Interpret electrical schematics, machine manuals, and technical documentation for troubleshooting and repair.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and workplace regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues and improve system reliability
