The Senior Reliability Test Engineer will define, execute, and own reliability and qualification testing for hyperscale networking platforms.
Requirements
- Define and execute reliability and qualification test plans for networking and data center hardware.
- Lead Robustness Validation - extended stress testing aligned to hyperscale requirements.
- Execute environmental and mechanical testing: Thermal cycling and thermal shock, High temperature operating life (HTOL), Vibration, shock, drop, Humidity, corrosion, ESD
- Test Setup Preparation: Prepare test setups, including soldering, wiring harness assembly, and integration of Devices Under Test (DUTs) into fixtures, ensuring adherence to test procedures and standards.
- GR&R Assessments: Perform Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) studies on test systems to verify reliability and ensure accurate, consistent data generation.
- Equipment Proficiency: Utilize and understand the operation of essential test equipment, including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and environmental chambers.
- Testing Execution: Conduct functional, performance, and reliability tests on products in accordance with established test procedures, ensuring comprehensive evaluation.
- Perform failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action tracking.
- Generate qualification reports, reliability summaries, and release documentation - Provide clear and concise reports on test outcomes, actively participating in team meetings to discuss results and insights.
- SOP Development: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to standardize testing processes and ensure compliance.
- Work closely with DFR, hardware design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Support launch readiness, customer qualifications, and audits.
- Data Recording and Analysis: Accurately record and analyze test results, documenting any deviations or issues encountered during testing for future reference and troubleshooting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers and cross-functional team members to identify and resolve technical problems encountered during testing.
