Job Description
TE Connectivity seeks a Strategic Buyer to define and implement regional sourcing strategies for the EMEA Resins and Chemicals Commodity. The role involves supplier negotiations, capacity management, and compliance with TE requirements. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in procurement, technical background in resins, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Requirements
- Create a Commodity strategy, under strong consideration of customer needs
- Drive the attainment of relevant procurement KPI's
- Responsible for improving material productivity
- Responsible for contracting of supplier commercial agreements
- Manage the Supplier Footprint
- Collect and maintain capabilities and capacities of suppliers
- Ensure Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic suppliers
- Ensure MOQ optimization for purchased components
- Calculate Headwind impacts and apply for necessary approval
- Ensure NPI alignment to global sourcing commodity strategy
- Ensure that all suppliers meet TE requirements for compliance
