Job Description
The Strategic Buyer - Plastic Granules position is responsible for defining and implementing regional sourcing strategies for the EMEA Resins and Chemicals Commodity to reach sourcing targets in delivery, productivity, cost, and quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in procurement as buyer for relevant commodities
- Technical background in plastic granules is a must
- Excellent problem solving skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and continues improvement attitude
- Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teams
- Proven track record in negotiation skills
- Knowledge of regional and global supplier base for relevant commodities
- Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office
