Utilizes production equipment and tools to carry out production activities that are in line with regulations, supports design review and design for manufacturing review activities, and assists in documenting improvements to product, process, and tooling design.
Requirements
- Support Design Review and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Review activities
- Assist in documenting improvements to product, process, and tooling design
- Help prepare sample tooling and product samples
- Coordinate with engineers (MPDE-A) to identify suitable manufacturing methods based on volume, quality, and location site
- Operate and maintain automated machines, with strong focus in socket stitching machines
- Assist engineers (MPDE-A), machine owners, and suppliers in analyzing and troubleshooting issues in process development, machine operation, and production
- Support machine setup, corrective actions, conditioning, and CTAR approvals
- Support engineers (MPDE-A) in project launches through FACA and QCPC processes
- Apply lessons learned from previous projects to improve future work and procedures
- Assist in researching or introducing new technologies into the production process to improve efficiency and yield
