TOOL & DIE MAKER

TE Connectivity is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to support manufacturing operations by providing tooling and fixtures for production and new product introduction (NPI). The ideal candidate will have experience working with tight tolerances, high-precision components, or machining in a quality-driven or regulated environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical certification, apprenticeship, or journeyman training preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of experience in medical manufacturing, machining, or a related precision manufacturing environment required.
• Direct Tool & Die experience is preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of tool steels, heat treatment, surface finishes, and precision machining techniques preferred; advanced skills can be developed through training
• Experience with tight tolerance machining preferred
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, optical comparators, etc.)
• Basic computer skills required and Esprit CAM software experience preferred
• Familiarity with CNC and/or EDM machining and/or programming is a plus
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English, including the ability to understand technical documentation, procedures, and work instructions
