CNC Technical Specialist

Teague is seeking a CNC Technical Specialist to join its dynamic mockup and prototype team, supporting the fabrication of complex parts used in large-scale prototypes and design models. The ideal candidate will have strong technical programming expertise and hands-on shop work experience, including machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and verification of finished parts. The role will work closely with designers and builders to translate CAD models, drawings, and conceptual designs into accurate, fabricated components, and will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs using Mastercam for multiple machine platforms.

Requirements

• Completion of a formal apprenticeship, technical degree, or equivalent training in machining, manufacturing, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience programming and operating CNC machines in a fabrication, manufacturing, or prototype environment
• Strong proficiency in Mastercam and experience developing and optimizing CNC programs
• Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC 3, 4, and 5-axis mills, CNC routers, and hotwire cutting systems
• Experience working with a variety of materials including EPS foam, plywood, composites, aluminum, acrylic, Sintra, tooling board, and related fabrication materials
• Ability to interpret CAD models, technical drawings, and sketches and translate them into machining strategies and fabrication plans
• Proficiency using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, indicators, thread gauges, and bore gauges
• Working knowledge of construction mathematics and measurement systems
• Experience using hand and power tools commonly found in fabrication and prototype shops
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
