Job Description
Join Hobson & Motzer as a CNC Programmer to create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam. This 1st shift role supports new product development, new product introduction, and existing production, focusing on efficient machining strategies, process optimization, and quality compliance. Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam, including advanced toolpath strategies and macro logic. Interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CNC programming using Mastercam
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with CNC milling, turning, set-up, and production machining
- Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret technical drawings
- Experience machining hardened materials (Stainless Steel > 37 HRC)
- Familiarity with FANUC controls
- Experience with CMM inspection and Zeiss Calypso
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
