Job Description
Gardner Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Construction Estimator with at least 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating to join their team in Rockwall, TX. The role involves preparing accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for commercial construction projects and collaborating with project managers and leadership during preconstruction.
Requirements
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for commercial construction projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop competitive bids
- Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
- Develop and manage budgets within Procore
- Identify value engineering opportunities
- Collaborate with project managers and leadership during preconstruction
- Assist with bid reviews, scope clarification, and project handoffs
