Requirements
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects ranging from a few million to $50M.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and ensure competitive and comprehensive bids.
- Review and evaluate tender documents to identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects during pre-construction and design phases.
- Participate in bid reviews and presentations with management.
- Maintain a database of unit costs, productivity rates, and historical project data.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, local construction costs, and market conditions.
