HVAC Chiller Technician

Commercial HVAC Technician II position with EMI Services, responsible for installing, modifying, and repairing refrigeration systems, air conditioning, and ventilation systems for military installations.

Requirements

• Diagnose and repair various refrigerant systems
• Cut and bend tubing to correct length and shape
• Test and verify proper operation of components
• Replace defective breaker controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring
• Add/remove freon to refrigerant systems
• Observe pressure and vacuum gauges and adjust controls
• Wrap pipes in insulation batting and secure them in place
• Install, repair, and service air conditioners
• Prepare work orders and cost materials estimates
• Assist in training lower-level workers
