Assistant Manager - Concept Engineering

Join the Advanced Concepts group at Techtronic Industries as an Assistant Manager to develop cutting-edge concepts for brands such as RYOBI and RIDGID. This hands-on role involves managing a team, designing and building prototypes, and communicating technical details to both technical and non-technical team members.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical or B.A. in Industrial Design
• 5+ years' experience in design, prototyping, and/or test fixture development
• 2+ years' experience managing a team (3+ People)
• 3D CAD experience
• Experience with hands-on fabrication methodologies (3D printing, woodworking, metal working)
• Experience with electronics including Arduino and Raspberry PI
• Understanding of key performance metrics such as power, speed, and torque
• Experience with measurement equipment for vibration & sound
• An eye for aesthetically pleasing designs
