Job Description
Join Techtronic Industries' Advanced Concepts group as a Concept Design Engineer to develop cutting-edge concepts for brands such as RYOBI and RIDGID. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver functional prototypes and communicate technical details to non-technical team members.
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical or B.A. in Industrial Design
- 0 - 3 years' experience in design, prototyping, and/or test fixture development
- 3D CAD experience
- Experience with hands-on fabrication methodologies (3D printing, woodworking, metal working)
- Experience with electronics including Arduino and Raspberry PI is a plus.
- Understanding of key performance metrics such as power, speed, and torque.
- Experience with measurement equipment for vibration & sound is a plus
- An eye for aesthetically pleasing designs is a plus.
