Cost Controls Specialist will implement methodologies, procedures, and cost control systems in medium to large-scale projects. The role will provide support to projects in the study phase and execution stage. The Cost Controls Specialist will be responsible for planning and implementing effective cost control processes and systems, in line with the standards defined by the Project Control Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, accounting, finance, administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project cost control, ideally in mining or heavy industry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cost control from the Owner (owner) role.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field.
- Strong knowledge in project management and project control methodologies.
- Knowledge of the engineering and construction industry.
- Experience in study and execution project stages.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with cost control software such as Unifier, PRISM, or Cleopatra (desired).
- Experience with planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6 (desired).
- Certifications such as CPA, P.Eng, or AScT (desired).
- Certifications such as CCP, CEP, PMP, or similar (desired).
