Job Description
Tekion is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to contribute to the development and optimization of platform modules, including web, server, and data access components. This role involves leading the development of search, RAG, and LLM solutions, mentoring team members, and ensuring software quality and scalability. Tekion is a rapidly growing, innovative platform connecting automotive retailers with technology partners.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of software development experience
- Full-stack expertise
- Advanced expertise in Python and Java (Spring Boot)
- Experience with RESTful API architecture
- Knowledge of SQL and data access patterns
- Expertise in JavaScript (ReactJS/Redux), Flutter, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and HTTP protocols
- Experience with LLMs (RAG), enterprise search, and MCP by Anthropic
- Strong technical leadership and communication skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
