Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the transition of optical and opto-electronic products from design through production, ensuring designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and scalable. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of work experience in a technical manufacturing environment and a Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline.

Requirements

• Review designs and collaborate with designers to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
• Participate in new project engineering design and reviews
• Apply manufacturing knowledge to participate in design change decisions to reduce manufacturing risk
• Work with engineering and production to assist in the building of pre-production systems to ensure a smooth transition to manufacturing
• Coordinate, initiate, review, and approve Engineering Change Orders (ECO's) for all related products
• Create, develop, and maintain manufacturing documentation concerning fixtures, testing, maintenance, manufacturing floor layout, process flows and acceptance criteria for all products
