Manufacturing Engineer

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to work on complex projects, design and simulate molding machinery and processes, and construct equipment and fixtures. The ideal candidate has experience with Encapsulation molding, transfer molding, compression molding, and/or potting, and is able to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders of all levels.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years hands on practical experience supporting and designing molds and molding systems
• Minimum of 2 years hands on practical experience in a production and/or assembly environment
• Equipment trouble shooting skills
• Communication skills
• Problem Solving and creative thinking
• Flexibility and Adaptability
• Knowledge and experience in Lean and/or Sigma
• Desired knowledge of Project Management, Risk Assessment, and Design of Experiments
