The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting and improving Teledyne DGO's quality systems, processes, and controls to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Support and maintain the company's quality management system (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities for internal and external non-conformances.
- Develop and improve inspection plans, control plans, and testing procedures.
- Analyze data from inspection, testing, and production records to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Support supplier quality activities, including reviewing incoming materials and resolving supplier-related non-conformances.
- Participate in internal and external audits, preparing documentation and supporting audit findings.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Purchasing to address quality issues and drive process improvements.
- Assist in developing training materials and educating employees on quality standards and best practices.
