Demand Planner needed to support a growing business with trusted brands. The role involves reviewing sales and customer demand forecasts, ensuring supply is scheduled properly to meet customer requirements. The position will work with sales, marketing, and end clients to identify demands, product priorities, and allocations. This is an on-site position based in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Requirements
- Prepare forecast based on customer and sales demand
- Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
- Manage statistical forecasts and inventory demand plans and align according to KPI metrics
- Managing and creating demand plans with account managers and customers to ensure sufficient allocation to support inventory within a global supply chain
- Ensures timely submittal of client forecasts and forecast updates in order to create functional demand plans
- Manage multiple SKUs with short life spans, typically averaging 6 β 12 months
- Manage long range planning and execute New Product Launch and End of Life strategy
- Support S&OP process to review KPI performance, sales, forecasts, purchase plans/orders, risks, and opportunities to better align sales plans with operational plans
- Manage procurement analytics to ensure accurate data is reflected on reports
- Build, maintain and manage internal and external relationships and keep up good communication with cross-functional teams
