Social Worker, Counselling Therapist

TELUS Health is a global-leading health and well-being provider, partnering with the Government of Nova Scotia to offer the Access Wellness program, providing single-session mental health support to Nova Scotia residents aged 18 and above. We are seeking a Social Worker, Counselling Therapist to provide single-session counselling to the adult population of Nova Scotia through the Access Wellness program.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Counselling, Social Work or Counselling Psychology
• Membership with Nova Scotia College of Social Workers or Novia Scotia College of Counselling Therapists
• Minimum of three years of post-Masters clinical experience
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work within a single-session model
• Ability to use a solution focused approach and to set short term objectives
• Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases
