Job Description
Temple University's Public Safety Department is seeking Campus Police Officers-Lateral. This role requires currently CERTIFIED law enforcement individuals with a valid driver's license, Act 120 certification, and a clean criminal and driver history. The position involves providing police patrol and performing various duties related to police services for students, faculty, and staff.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Are currently Act 120 certified or currently enrolled in a Municipal Police Officer’s Training Act (Act 120) program and be 60% complete
- Must be in the process of obtaining a Municipal Police Officer’s Training Act (Act 120) out of state waiver or Military Waiver
- Must successfully complete a medical physical, psychological and extensive background investigation
