Campus Police Officer-Lateral

Temple University is seeking certified law enforcement individuals to fill multiple Campus Police Officer-Lateral positions. The role involves providing police patrol in uniformed and plain clothes operations, and performing duties related to police services for the university community. Eligible candidates will receive a hiring bonus and a salary increase after a successful probation period.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Are currently Act 120 certified or currently enrolled in a Municipal Police Officer’s Training Act (Act 120) program and be 60% complete
• Must be in the process of obtaining a Municipal Police Officer’s Training Act (Act 120) out of state waiver or Military Waiver
• Must successfully complete a medical physical, psychological and extensive background investigation
