Job Description
Temple University's Public Safety Department is expanding and searching for Campus Police Officers-Lateral. This role is for currently certified law enforcement individuals ONLY. Starting hourly rate is $30.48/hr, with opportunities for higher pay after probation and completion of field training.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Act 120 certified or currently enrolled in a Municipal Police Officer’s Training Act (Act 120) program and be 60% complete
- In the process of obtaining a Municipal Police Officer’s Training Act (Act 120) out of state waiver or Military Waiver
- Must successfully complete a medical physical, psychological and extensive background investigation

- Hiring Bonus: $1200 after successful completion of Field Training Orientation (FTO), $1300 1 year after Field Training Orientation completion
