Financial Aid Counselor I

Temple University's Office of Enrollment Management is seeking a Financial Aid Counselor to process financial aid information and provide advising to prospective/current students and their families in a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience
• Demonstrated experience delivering accurate and courteous information in a fast-paced and demanding customer service environment
• Experience working in a financial aid office or in an Enrollment Management setting
• Experience with Ellucian Banner Financial Aid module, Ellucian CampusLogic, COD, NSLDS, ELM resource, FAA Access and AES/PHEAA systems
• Prior experience in higher education, student services, customer service, or administrative support
• Familiarity with FAFSA or financial aid terminology
• Experience working with diverse student populations
