Job Description
The Financial Aid Counselor processes financial aid information and provides advising to prospective/current students and their families in a fast-paced team environment while complying with federal and state regulations as well as university policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering accurate and courteous information in a fast-paced and demanding customer service environment
- Experience working in a financial aid office or in an Enrollment Management setting
- Experience with Ellucian Banner Financial Aid module, Ellucian CampusLogic, COD, NSLDS, ELM resource, FAA Access and AES/PHEAA systems
- Prior experience in higher education, student services, customer service, or administrative support
