Job Description
Tenaska is a large privately held company with various businesses, including natural gas and power marketing, development, and operation. The Senior Corporate Accountant & Reporting Specialist role supports accounting and administrative duties, ensuring timely completion of general accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years' experience
- CPA a plus / prior work experience in public accounting also preferred
- Strong understanding of financial and operational controls
- Strong attention to details and accuracy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge and prior experience with general ledger systems and procedures, preferably Microsoft Great Plains / Business Central software
