Monitor Tech

The Monitor Tech is responsible for setting up telemetry on physician orders, ensuring proper equipment functioning, collecting and documenting patient data, and collaborating with nursing staff.

Requirements

• Selects, sets-up, calibrates and adjusts monitoring equipment
• Ensures continued proper functioning of equipment
• Collects, transmits, and documents pertinent patient data
• Confers with nursing staff to determine correct validation counts and alarm parameters
