Pharmacist Intern

The individual in this position will assist a licensed pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing, and delivery of pharmaceuticals and supplies under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Requirements

• Pharmacy student
• Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Reviews and interprets orders for inpatients and outpatients
• Prepares and dispenses medication
• Conducts medication rounds and prepares IV additives
• Monitors patient therapy
• Participates in educational programs and projects
