Job Description
The Pharmacist Intern will work under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to provide clinical pharmaceutical care to patients, learn operational and clinical skills, and ensure safe and effective use of medications.
Requirements
- Provide clinical pharmaceutical care to patients
- Provide oral and written follow-up with treatment recommendations
- Interact with patients/families and other health care professionals
- Ensure completion of required documentation
- Perform Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM)
- Maintain compliance with departmental policies and procedures
- Engage in professional self-development
- Determine and align improvement projects with HSN's Strategic Plan
- Participate in education and training
- Educate and promote health, safety and wellness
- Represent the department or program on various committees and in meetings
- Perform other duties as required
Benefits
