Registered Charge Nurse Telemetry Full Time Days Weekender

The Registered Charge Nurse Telemetry is responsible for providing guidance and support to staff, maintaining a safe environment, ensuring patient throughput, and directing nursing staff. The charge nurse oversees patient admissions, transfers and discharges, and mentors and trains new staff while providing support and guidance to all staff members.

Requirements

• Assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
• Supervising staff and delegating assignments
• Providing direct clinical patient care
• Monitoring medical charts and administering compassionate care and assistance to patients and families
• Liaising with doctors and administrators and communicating any protocol changes to staff
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintaining accurate reports
