Job Description
Performs diagnostic CT exams, verifies patient identity, reviews medical record, and explains procedure to patient. Sets up equipment, acquires images, and reviews data to communicate to radiologist. Recognizes and responds to medical emergencies and provides imaging education to residents and new employees.
Requirements
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
- One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
