Job Description
Coordinates childbirth education in the outpatient setting and develops, updates, coordinates and plans lactation education in the outpatient and inpatient settings in accordance with state and national standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
- Five years experience working with postpartum and Ante partum patients and their infants
- Two years demonstrated leadership experience coordinating education programs and work of others
- Certification by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiner (IBLCE)
