Job Description
Coordinates childbirth education in the outpatient setting, develops and updates lactation education in accordance with state and national standards, and serves as a resource and liaison between lactation department and other related areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
- Five years experience working with postpartum and Ante partum patients and their infants
- Two years demonstrated leadership experience coordinating education programs and work of others
- Certification by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiner (IBLCE)
