Radiologic Technologist Full Time Days

Performs diagnostic radiological exams, verifies patient identity, and reviews patient medical record. Interviews patient, explains procedure, and sets up equipment to acquire images. Reviews images, makes observations, and documents exceptions.

Requirements

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
• Analytical and clinical skills to determine age-appropriate radiograph method for patients
• Interpersonal and communication skills to deal with patients under stress and comprehend physician requests
• Technical knowledge to operate specialized equipment and computers
• Ability to work productively in a complex environment with multiple priorities
• Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning of patients
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate x-ray equipment and supplies
