Tennessee Oncology is seeking a Registered PET/CT Technologist to operate a hybrid PET/CT scanner and perform diagnostic CT exams and PET/CT imaging. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of CT cross-sectional anatomy, positioning, radiographic techniques, and radiation protection concepts.
- Insures proper administration of oral and intravenous contrast material when appropriate.
- Measures, administers, and records isotope dosage following established departmental procedures.
- Explains procedures to patients and addresses their concerns.
- Orients and mentors new staff members.
- Demonstrates outstanding customer service and displays appropriate behavior.
- Performs all duties in accordance with Tennessee Oncology Policies and Procedures Manual and supplemental procedure established for its Imaging Centers.
