Legal Counsel

The Tennessee Titans are seeking a proactive and pragmatic Counsel to join our in-house legal team. This individual will report directly to the Associate General Counsel and will represent the Club in a wide range of legal and risk management matters with a focus on transactional work.

Requirements

• Admission to the Tennessee bar or ability to qualify as an in-house attorney.
• 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience as a practicing attorney, preferably at a full-service law firm and or large corporate legal department.
• Experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.
• Experience fostering successful interactions and communicating with a diverse array of colleagues, clients, stakeholders, and leaders at all levels.
• The highest commitment to high ethical and professional standards, including personal integrity and sound judgement.
• Self-motivated and a demonstrated ability to efficiently project manage multiple tasks and initiatives at the same time.
• Ability to leverage resources and quickly adapt to and learn new areas of the law.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to prioritize and work as a team with other departments in a high-performing and high-profile environment.
• Impeccable oral and written communication skills, negotiation skills, and an ability to identify and address complicated and sensitive problems with creativity and sound judgment.
• A keen attention to accuracy and detail.
