Tooling and Fixturing Technician

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Advanced Vocational Technical training in machining and welding or Tooling & Fixturing preferred
• Ability to run manual mill and lathe required
• Ability to run and program 3 axis CNC mill preferred
• Ability to use SolidWorks CAD software required
• 2+ years related work creating fixtures preferred
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes: Assembly, Welding, Fabrication and Machining
• Welding certification preferred but not required
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to details; safety, quality, delivery, cost, TM morale
• Problem solving and mechanical aptitude
• Basic level using Microsoft systems such as Outlook, Excel and Word
