Job Description
Lead and manage daily mining production activities across multiple sites in Central Africa. Develop and execute production plans to meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of progressive experience in mining production management, preferably in Central Africa or similar regions
- Proven track record in managing large-scale mining operations with demonstrated success in meeting production targets
- In-depth knowledge of mining processes, including drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and processing
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations, environmental compliance, and sustainable mining practices
- Proficiency in production planning software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to manage multicultural teams
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently across operational sites
- Experience with community engagement and stakeholder management in resource-rich, developing regions
