Job Description
Lead the strategic development and execution of ore dressing processes across multiple Central African mining operations, optimizing mineral recovery and reducing operational costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 2–5 years of progressive experience in ore dressing and mineral processing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven track record in managing complex processing circuits including crushing, grinding, flotation, gravity separation, and thickening.
- Strong knowledge of process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, JKMPC, ModSim) and data analytics tools.
- Experience working in mining operations in Sub-Saharan Africa, with familiarity with regional regulatory and operational challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Central African sites and work in remote, challenging environments.
