General Counsel

As General Counsel, you will report to the CEO and lead the company's legal strategy and risk management, ensuring compliance across all jurisdictions where the company operates. You will develop and lead the company's legal strategy and risk management, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks. The ideal candidate has 10-15+ years of relevant legal experience, a JD from an accredited law school, and is a member in good standing of the state Bar Association.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and a member in good standing of the candidate’s state of residence State Bar Association
• 10 - 15+ years relevant legal experience in a combination of large law firm and in-house roles at pharmaceutical or biotech companies
• Senior leadership experience
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is required, preferably with a strong life science practice experience
• Extensive knowledge of the software and SaaS sector is essential, along with a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory environment of the pharmaceutical or life sciences industries
• Experience counseling technology product teams, especially those building B2B products and services
• Proven track record of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and managing a high volume of complex legal matters in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and client counseling skills
