Job Description
The Mortgage Loan Originator Team Lead is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans within a Branch, supporting production efforts, and conducting sales activities outside the employer’s location. This role focuses on loan origination, borrower evaluation, and maintaining accurate records, with potential for overrides based on sales activities. Emphasis on meeting industry standards and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree preferred
- Valid NMLS license as required by state and federal regulations
- Previous experience in mortgage lending or financial services preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office tool
