Job Description
The Laboratory Technician position is responsible for managing laboratory spaces, conducting experiments and technical procedures, and assisting with data analyses. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience, as well as two years of related experience. The Hoyt Laboratory at Texas A&M University is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to join their team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree (desirable)
- Related experience in a research laboratory
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, scientific devices, and computer equipment
- Ability to perform experiments on animals
- Ensure attention to detail
