Texas A&M International University is seeking an Associate/Full Professor of Psychology or Communication and Chair of the Department of Psychology & Communication to begin Fall 2026. The position involves modeling, supporting, and rewarding faculty excellence in teaching and research, assessing and innovating curricula, and developing partnerships across the university and community.

Requirements

• Doctorate in psychology, communication, or a closely related discipline
• Record of research and publications
• Teaching experience commensurate to rank
• At least 5 years of full-time faculty experience
• Experience in faculty management
• Administrative and supervisory experience as a program coordinator, program director, or division/department chair
