Director and Department Chair of the School of First Year Experiences

Texas A&M International University seeks a Director and Department Chair of the School of First Year Experiences to lead comprehensive, integrated leadership across the First Year Experiences program. The role includes leadership and coordination of developmental education in Mathematics and English, Language Arts, and Reading (ELAR) and collaboration with academic advisors to discuss course placement, scheduling, and advising.

Requirements

• Terminal degree (PhD) or EdD with focus in Curriculum and Instruction or a closely related field
• Master’s degree in a discipline within the College of Arts and Sciences
