Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor & Field Experience Coordinator will work as a clinical supervisor in the on-site departmental training clinic at Texas A&M University- Central Texas. They will also perform duties for field experience coordination related to external sitework for clinical internships for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and Marriage and Family Therapy program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (COAMFTE accredited) or a related field
- Two years post graduate experience in community mental health, private practice, or other related clinical experience including therapy services and program management
- Knowledge of COAMFTE accreditation standards
- Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (or eligible in Texas by hire)
- Eligibility or Status as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor/ AAMFT Approved Supervisor-in-Training
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding
- Field Coordinator Experience
- Experience working previously in an on-campus counseling training clinic
- Doctorate of Marriage and Family Therapy from COAMFTE accredited programs (opportunity for adjunct opportunities may be available, if properly credentialed)
