Professional Counselor I (Part-Time)

The Professional Counselor I provides basic individual and group counseling, develops and maintains support groups, and creates educational presentations regarding health-related topics. This is a part-time position that requires a master's degree in Counseling and Guidance, Social Work, or a related field, and eligibility for licensure as a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern (LPC-Intern).

Requirements

• Provides direct and confidential personal/group counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and referral services
• Develops and conducts mental health groups
• Assists in coordinating training sessions for counseling students and provides leadership and support related to course instructional content
