The Assistant Commandant is jointly responsible for the cadet and midshipmen leadership development program, Corps conduct process, and maritime training. This position supports and assists the Commandant in all aspects of cadet life and Corps operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years in leadership development program or any equivalent experience
- Within 90 days of hire, must be able to obtain a TSA Transportation Workers Identification Credentials (TWIC)
- Within 90 days of hire, must apply for and obtain a US Coast Guard-issued Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC)
- Must possess a State of Texas Class C driver's license
