Program Coordinator I

The Program Coordinator I will coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of the McNair Scholars Program, a federally funded TRIO program designed to prepare first-generation, low-income undergraduate students for doctoral studies. The coordinator will provide academic advising, financial aid counseling, and research opportunities to program participants, plan and implement program events, maintain program records and databases, and assist with budget monitoring and communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Two years of program administration experience
• Experience with federal TRIO programs, academic support programs, or similar programs for first-generation and low-income students
• Ability to provide academic advising and financial aid counseling to college students
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and implement educational programs and events
