We are seeking an experienced, detailāoriented laboratory animal care professional who thrives in a handsāon supervisory role and is committed to excellence in animal welfare, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Four years of related experience in laboratory animal care
- Successful completion of a formal Laboratory Animal Science Course may substitute for three months of laboratory animal care experience
- American Association of Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
- Must be able to obtain State of Texas class āCā vehicle driver license within 30 days of employment
