Job Description
Texas Children’s Hospital is seeking an Ambulatory Services Rep II to provide excellent customer service, manage outpatient check-in/out processes, and ensure accurate financial information for patient accounts. The role involves onboarding patients, educating them on virtual visit procedures, and expediting the outpatient flow. It is the first contact for patients and providers, responsible for managing appointment availability, insurance, and benefits.
Requirements
- Admission- Check-In/Welcome desk, PAR's, Registration, Past Pending.
- Performs patient registration procedures per department process.
- Communicates with patients, staff and providers regarding patient arrivals, delays and clinic processes.
- Alerts clinic staff and providers of any changes or discrepancies in patient’s scheduled appointment.
- As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing.
