Job Description
Texas Children’s Hospital is seeking a Transport EMT to provide patient care, operate in a fast-paced environment, and serve as both a transport team member and communication specialist. This role involves performing routine and specialized patient care within the EMT scope of practice, managing patient information, and responding to emergencies. The position requires a current EMT certification.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an Emergency Vehicle Operation Course (EVOC)
- BLS – Cert-Basic Life Support American Heart Association
- EMT – Emergency Medical Tech Texas Department of State Health Services or equivalent
- EMT-B – Emergency Medical Tech-Basic Texas Department of State Health Services or equivalent
- EMT-I – Emergency Medical Tech-Interm Texas Department of State Health Services or equivalent
- EMT-A – Advanced EMT Texas Department of State Health Services or equivalent
- EMT-P – Emergency Medical Tech-Parame Texas Department of State Health Services or equivalent
- LIC PAR - Lic-Paramedic Texas Department of State Health Services or equivalent
